Staff from Linaker Primary School took on the Born Survivor challenge this past Saturday, raising funds for a very special cause.

After months of training, #TeamLinaker tackled a demanding course of mud, water, climbing walls, rope obstacles and endurance challenges, showing fantastic determination and teamwork throughout.

The team were raising money to create a new reading shed in the school’s Early Years provision in memory of much-loved colleague, Liz Caldwell, who sadly passed away last year whilst working at the school.

Liz was a cherished member of the Linaker community for many years, and the new reading shed will provide a lasting tribute to her and her love of the school community.

The challenge was made even more special as the team took part alongside Liz’s brother, John.
