Year 2 is an incredibly exciting period in our children’s learning journey. While in Year 2, the children will experience a diverse and fascinating curriculum, developing both knowledge and key skills. We work diligently to ensure that prior learning and progress from the EYFS and Year 1 are built on seamlessly and as optimally as possible.
In Year 2, we work hard to develop our reading, writing and maths skills whilst exploring a wide range of exciting topics across the curriculum. We encourage all children to be curious, creative and confident learners who are always ready to try their best.
Throughout the year, we will share news, photographs and examples of the fantastic learning taking place in our classroom. We look forward to working in partnership with you to ensure every child has a happy, successful and memorable year in Year 2.
